Workspace & members

Bring your people together, choose the right roles, and understand who can change what.

On this page

Make the workspace recognizable#

Open the company-name menu, then Settings → General. Owners and admins can update the company name, country, and logo. The workspace handle is read-only: renaming your business does not change the workspace URL.

Invite a teammate#

  1. As an owner or admin, open Settings → Members.
  2. Choose Invite members and enter the teammate’s email address.
  3. Select the appropriate role, then choose Create invite link.
  4. Use Copy link to share the invitation directly with that teammate. Invitations also queue an email; queued is not confirmation of delivery.

The invitation works for its specified email address. Check Pending invitations for its expiry, or revoke an invitation that should no longer grant access. Treat invitation links as private.

Choose the right role#

RoleWhat it’s for
MemberWorking with records under the object permissions your workspace sets. Members can draft workflows and sequences, but cannot publish them.
AdminManaging members and workspace settings, publishing workflows and sequences, and creating courses.
OwnerAdmin responsibilities, plus owner-role changes and deleting the workspace.

Everyone can open the main pages. Access to a page doesn’t mean every action on it is available. Only owners can invite another owner or change someone into or out of the Owner role. A workspace must retain an owner.

Understand object permissions#

For Contacts, Deals, Tasks, and Fulfillment, owners and admins manage member access under Settings → Objects → [object] → Permissions. The workspace default can be Read only, Read and write, or Full access. Individual overrides can grant more access, not less. Owners and admins retain full access.

Remove access carefully#

A member’s actions menu lets an authorized teammate remove them. Access ends immediately, but their contacts and deals stay. Read the mailbox-history choices before confirming: whether synced correspondence can be retained depends on the workspace’s verified domain.
