Your first steps

Get into your workspace, make it yours, and give your first opportunity a next step.

Get access to your workspace#

Open app.ariyel.io. On Log in to Ariyel, enter your work email and choose Continue. Ariyel takes you to the next step for that address: sign in, activate a provisioned workspace, open your team invitation, or join the waitlist. Under First time here?, choose Activate your workspace when Educo has provisioned one for you. Under No workspace yet?, choose Request access to open Educo’s demo booking.

  1. If you already have an account, Welcome back shows your email; choose Change to use a different address. Enter your password and choose Log in. If you’ve forgotten it, choose Forgot password?, then Send reset link. If two-factor authentication is on, Confirm it’s you then asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. After that (or straight after your password, without two-factor), Opening your workspace covers the wait until the app appears.
  2. If you’re joining a team, open the invitation link and use the email address it was sent to. Your address is already filled in; choose Continue. If you’re new, add your name and a password and choose Join <workspace name>, then open the confirmation email when asked; it brings you back to the invitation, which says You have joined — taking you in… and opens Ariyel. If you already have an account, log in, then choose Join <workspace name>. The join screen shows the address the invitation was sent to and the account you’re signed in as; if they differ, choose Go back under Wrong account? and sign in with the invited address. Invitations last 7 days and work once; if the link shows That invitation expired or That link is not valid, ask whoever invited you for a fresh link.
  3. If your workspace is ready for activation, enter your name and a password, choose Activate workspace, and confirm your email when asked. If that address already has an account, Ariyel opens the password screen instead with This workspace is already activated. Log in with your password. An address that isn’t set up for activation goes to whichever screen applies to it, such as You’re on the list.

New passwords need at least 12 characters. If you don’t have an account yet and enter an invited address without opening the link, Ariyel asks you to open the invitation email and offers Resend invitation email. Coming from the website with a valid ?email= briefly shows Log in to Ariyel with the button reading One moment…, then opens the same next screen Continue would (Welcome back, Activate your workspace, Check your email, or You’re on the list), then removes ?email= from the URL.

Finish the essentials#

Setup walks a new workspace owner through a welcome screen (Get started), What should we call you?, Name your workspace, Who’s joining you?, and You’re all set. Invited teammates see What should we call you? only.

On What should we call you?, add your first name; your last name and picture are optional. On Name your workspace, confirm the company name and country, with an optional logo. Your workspace address under the name is permanent—changing the company name does not change its URL. On Who’s joining you?, invite teammates as a Member or Admin, or choose Skip for now. Saved setup progress resumes if you refresh; unsent invitation drafts do not. When setup is done, choose Open Ariyel to land on Home.

Add one real relationship#

  1. Open Pipeline → Contacts and choose New contact.
  2. Add someone you’re actively working with, rather than adding your entire process in your first session.
  3. Open Deals and choose New deal. Give the opportunity a name and stage; both are required. If that stage has required fields that are still empty, choosing New deal opens Move <deal name> to <stage> (“<stage> needs N fields filled in before a deal can move in.”); fill them in and choose Move deal to create it, or pick a different stage. See Deals. The owner starts as you. The optional Company field links the deal to a contact whose company or name matches, reusing a match or creating a new contact.
  4. Otherwise, open the deal and pick its contact under Record details. Add a task for the next action so the opportunity has somewhere to go.

If New contact or New deal is greyed out, your access to that record type is Read only; hovering it says so, for example You have Read only access to Contacts. Ask an owner or admin to raise it (see object permissions).

A contact is a person. A deal is an opportunity. Keep those separate even when you’re starting with just one of each. The Contacts and Deals guides walk through the details.

Build from there#

Find your way around shows where today’s work lives. Then invite your team, connect Google, and adjust your pipeline to match the way you actually sell. Leave automation until the underlying process is clear.

The Getting started checklist at the bottom of the sidebar tracks six steps: Add a contact, Create a deal, Create a task, Write a note, Build a course, and Invite your team. A step ticks itself off once your workspace has at least one of that item, or a second member for the team step; for members, the course step counts published courses only. Only owners and admins can build courses. Choose Getting started to open the list; choosing an unfinished step starts it—Invite your team, for example, opens Members, and Build a course opens Courses. Dismiss hides the checklist in this browser. It can’t be brought back in that browser. Choosing Add a contact, Create a deal, or Create a task does nothing if your access to that record type is Read only.
