Your account & preferences

Set your timezone, tune notifications, and protect the account you use every day.

On this page

Keep your profile current#

Open Settings → Profile to edit your name, picture, preferred timezone, and the day your week starts. Pick the timezone you work in so day-based views make sense to you.

Changing your primary email requires confirmation. Check the new address carefully and follow the confirmation email; entering a replacement address alone does not complete the change.

Choose your appearance#

In Settings → Appearance, choose Light, Dark, or System and select an accent color. System follows your device preference. These are personal choices, not a redesign of everyone’s workspace.

Choose which notifications reach you#

Open Settings → Notifications. Email and in-app switches are separate for mentions, contact or deal assignments, task assignments, fulfillment assignments, and deal stage changes.

  • In-app notifications appear in the sidebar and link to the relevant work.
  • Email notifications can reach you when you aren’t looking at Ariyel.
  • You don’t receive notifications for your own actions.
  • Preferences apply to you in the current workspace. They do not change your teammates’ settings.

Workflow failure emails are controlled on the workflow itself, not by this list. If an update fails to save, use the error’s retry option rather than assuming the switch took effect.

Protect your sign-in#

  1. In Profile, find Two-factor authentication.
  2. Choose Enroll authenticator.
  3. Add the displayed QR code or setup key to your authenticator app.
  4. Enter the current code and finish verification. Wait for confirmation that two-factor authentication is on.

Keep your authenticator setup key private. Changing a password requires your current password and signs out your other sessions. If you can’t sign in, use the password-reset link on the sign-in screen; see Troubleshooting & help.

Separate personal and workspace settings#

Your connected Google account and sharing choices live under Email and calendar accounts. Company-wide rules live separately under the workspace’s Email and calendar settings. Start with the connection guide before changing sharing or synchronization.
